Research Interests
My work with CALobster is based in fishing giving me the way to explore the Channel Islands. I love going to the islands. My interest is method development for reef community assessment in MPA systems and social justice for my fishing community. I have been involved in all areas of design in the marine reserve network as a project in holistic management of marine resources. I view my fishing experience as a long term survey of habitat quality and the natural history of the Islands.
